Moorebank Liverpool Women’s Hockey

Each year Moorebank Liverpool District Hockey Club will field six teams generally graded in order of fitness, skill, experience and/or enthusiasm. Most grades will include an element of youth with a dash or oldness. The club ensures that player development is supported through the grades over time wherever desired.

Metro 1 The chosen ones (And subsequent 2010 premiers)
Metro 2 Wishing they were chosen ones
A Grade Development team – Future 1st Graders
B Grade Development team – Future 1st Graders
C Grade Club Legends with some youth added so not everyone appears to be standing still
Junior Girls Not yet ready for the big time.

Registration dates for 2011

Senior women player registration will be available during team training during february. Training times vary for each teams however you will be able to register at any of these times.

Training times;

  • Metro 1: Tuesday 6:00pm – 7:30pm & Thursday 8:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Campbeltown (A-C Grade): Thursday 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Some additional information you may like to know about the Moorebank Hockey Women’s season;

Women’s

  • Registration cost will be $TBC (early payment $TBC when paid before 1 May)
  • Under 17 and Student discounts also available $TBC
  • Metro generally play on Sundays at Homebush
  • Season commences after easter break (with Grand Finals in September)
  • SWHL (Metro) starts the last weekend in March
  • Players need to provide their own skirts, sticks, shinpads and mouthguards.
  • We have club socks available to purchase and each team is provided with a set of club shirts for the season.
  • Registration cost includes end of season presentation for all players.

Club trials games

Each year Moorebank will schedule trials against our many nemesis’s around Sydney. Trials are a great way to blow out the cobwebs and find all the gears you’ll need for Round 1. Trial games will be confirmed at team training.
