2011 Summercup

Pre-season mixed competition

This year the club will be running a social mixed Sunday evening competition at Moorebank.

It will run from the 23rd January until the end of February.

So here’s how it works

  • Turn up on a Sunday afternoon 4:30pm with a light and dark shirt and $2.
  • The last week we will throw together a BBQ.
  • It’s purely social and a bit of fitness before the season starts.

It is also a chance to get to know other members of the club. So bring your brothers, sisters, mums, dads and partners and I hope to see you there.

For further information, ring Megan Cotterill (Women’s Club Captain) on 0414 462 538.

Not on facebook? Don’t worry, just pencil this into your diaries and turn up on the day.

Club training starts 1st February 2011

2011 hockey season commences with training from the first Tuesday in February every year. This year is no exception, only this year it falls on the 1st day of the month. So it’s approaching quickly.
Club training is open to all existing members and even people looking for a sport to play in 2011. Pre season training will blow out the cobwebs and help you lose any extra holiday KG’s. Sessions are traditionally broken into two parts; cardio work and some stick work. All speeds and skill levels are catered for. And we’ll finish with a game to use up any energy that is left.

You’ve been warned.

Club training begins in 67 weeks, 4 days ago
